The Products

Cover Mate® Classic und Classic Plus are self-adhesive protective nonwovens suitable for covering and protecting many types of floors, stairs and, vertically, furniture and windows. Cover Mate® Classic and Classic Plus consist of two layers. The backing is a needle punched, non-slip, self-adhesive fibre fleece made of 100% recycled polypropylene (PP). The top layer consists of a non-breathable, liquid and waterproof polyethylene (PE) film. This prevents dirt and moisture from entering the floor. Cover Mate® Classic and Classic Plus thus offer perfect protection for all surfaces.

Applications

Cover Mate® Classic und Classic Plus offer safe protection for all types of floors and stairs during intensive construction, renovation and repair work. Cover Mate® Classic and Classic Plus can also be used to protect all types of dried concrete floors (balconies, stairs, galleries).

Features

Thanks to the waterproof adhesive layer, Cover Mate® Air Premium stays securely in place after installation. This means no more slipping or tripping in the work area. Moisture in the floor can escape thanks to the diffusion-open membrane. The strong material is shock-resistant and can be reused several times.

The Product

Cover Mate® Air Premium is a self-adhesive fleece with very high diffusion capacity for covering newly laid floors. The product consists of three layers. The underlay is a needle punched, non-slip, self-adhesive fibre fleece made of 100% recycled polypropylene (PP). The middle layer consists of a breathable polyethylene (PE) film and the top layer makes the product absorbent. These membranes are diffusion-open to the outside and waterproof on the outside. This means that using Cover Mate® Air Premium has no negative effect on the drying process of freshly laid floors. Nevertheless, the manufacturer recommends waiting for the final coat of the floor to be covered to dry for approx. 72 hours. Cover Mate® Air Premium is highly permeable: 1.2 ltr./ m² in 24h and therefore best suited for freshly laid floors.

Applications

During new construction, renovation and repair work, Cover Mate® Air Premium offers safe protection for natural stone, oiled parquet and cast cement floors, in addition to all other floors and surfaces. These high-priced floors must be able to breathe permanently due to their natural properties. The waterproof sealing of such floors would lead to damage (deformations, inclusions, mould) if left standing for a long time. Thanks to the diffusion-open membrane, Cover Mate® Air Premium can be used to protect vaporizing floors and can also be used outdoors.
